Lugging a suitcase around the airport is more likely to give you a crick in the neck than that holiday feeling. But some tech geniuses think they have discovered the solution — a bag that follows you around the airport. Travelmate is a suitcase on wheels that is connected to your phone and uses GPS technology to track your movements, following less than a foot behind.

It can even reach speeds of 6. 75 mph, in case you end up having to run for the gate, and can navigate large crowds. The bag, which meets airline cabin standards, can keep contents inside and also carry extra bags on top in case you got carried away in Duty Free.

It has two USB ports for charging your phone and iPad, as well as LED lighting and a speaker. The bag’s handle also turns into a portable desk for laptops and books, documents and many other things. They have been and are planning to deliver the first batch of suitcases this June. This article on ..
